Internal Business Development Manager to join this growing team.

The role is located in West Lancashire and is ideally located for those in the surrounding areas of Manchester & Liverpool.


The Role


  • This is a desk based account development role where you will be in charge of up to 100 current customers of varying sizes.
  • You will be contacting a mixture of SME & mid-market business customers over the phone to sell them a range of cutting edge telecoms products.
  • Warm leads are passed internally for a large portion of the opportunity, however candidates with an acquisition mentality who have experience of sourcing and prospecting their own business is desirable.
  • The role will be conducting the full sales cycle over the phone from inception to close whilst there is also the opportunity to engage with your customers face to face when required.
  • This is an account management role where you are expected to grow and nurture current customers through professional relationship management.


  • The salary range for the role is up to £23.5k basic salary depending upon experience with realistic OTE of £35k which is uncapped.
  • Other benefits include a generous holiday allowance, contributory pension and a fantastic working environment.

The Person


  • Attractive candidates for this role will have a minimum of 1 year B2B sales experience within the telecoms industry.
  • Telecoms experience is essential for this role.
  • Experience of mobile, networking, cloud, fixed line lease and SIP is preferable.
  • Will have a proven track record of target achievement and earnings to display successes.
  • Experience of dealing with mid-market level customers preferable.
  • Will be a professional and possess good communication skills at all levels.
  • Will have a solid understanding and be able to articulate their knowledge of the telecoms industry and products.


  • The right candidate will have ambition and a desire to earn as well as progress their career within this impressive organisation.
  • Will understand the full sales cycle and be able to explain an understanding of how to source new business and manage a pipeline of opportunity.
  • Will possess a winning attitude and be able to display tenacity and a real desire to be successful
